Introduction
The Chetak Motorcycle Club is a prestigious
touring club built on the pillars of brotherhood, honour, and
discipline. Our commitment to riding, camaraderie, and adventure binds us
together, and every Member is expected to uphold the values and traditions of
the club. Membership is a privilege that comes with responsibilities, and by
wearing the club’s insignia, you pledge to uphold its code with integrity and
pride.
1. Respect for Bharat (India)
& National Symbols
- Honour
and respect Bharat (India), the Constitution of India,
and all symbols representing the nation.
- Protect
and uphold the dignity of the Tiranga (National Flag) at all costs.
- Show
utmost respect to the Defence Personnel, Emergency
Service providers (Doctors, Police, Fire-fighters, and Paramedics) and
offer assistance whenever required.
- Respect
and treat all citizens with dignity, regardless of including, but
not limited to religion, gender, language, or ethnicity.
2. Brotherhood, Respect &
Camaraderie
- The
club is a family—each Member is a brother or sister.
- Loyalty
and respect for fellow club members and affiliates is mandatory.
- Support
and assist Members in times of need.
- Any
form of hostility, disrespect, or violence against another member
will not be tolerated.
- Personal
conflicts must be resolved privately or escalated to
club leadership.
3. Integrity & Honour
- Act
with honour and integrity in all dealings, both within and outside
the club.
- Always
uphold commitments and promises made to the club and its members.
- Betrayal
of the club or a fellow Member is unacceptable and will lead to expulsion.
4. Discretion &
Confidentiality
- Keep
all club matters confidential. Do not discuss internal affairs with
non-members.
- Club
business and strategies must not be disclosed to outsiders.
- Unauthorized
use of the club’s name, insignia, or reputation is strictly prohibited.
5. Commitment & Participation
- Active
participation in club meetings, rides, and events is mandatory
unless excused.
- Show
dedication to the club’s values and activities.
- Lack
of participation or commitment may result in demotion or removal
from the club.
6. Conduct & Public Behaviour
- Members
must uphold the dignity and reputation of the club at all times.
- Public
misconduct, reckless behaviour, or disturbances while wearing club colours
will not be tolerated.
- Respect
fellow motorists, pedestrians, and the public.
- Social
media conduct matters—do not post anything that could harm the
club’s reputation.
- Show
respect towards families and loved ones of fellow Members.
7. Riding Conduct & Safety
Rules
- Follow
the Road Warden’s instructions during rides.
- Maintain
proper spacing and discipline in formations—reckless riding endangers the
entire group.
- Riding
under the influence of alcohol or drugs is strictly prohibited.
- Members
must wear DOT-approved helmets and appropriate riding gear.
- Motorcycles
must be roadworthy and well-maintained.
- No Member gets left behind. If a fellow member faces an issue, we stop and assist—no exceptions.
8. Leadership & Chain of Command
- The
club follows a structured hierarchy. Members must respect and
adhere to the chain of command.
- The
leadership structure will be formed by voting, and any member can
submit their nomination.
- Initially,
these three positions will be at the top of the club:

3. Treasurer
- Leadership
decisions are final and made for the collective benefit of the club.
- Disputes
with leadership should be addressed privately and
respectfully.
- Continuous
defiance of club leadership may lead to disciplinary action.
9. Non-Criminal &
Non-Political Stance
- Chetak
Motorcycle Club is a club, not a criminal or political organization.
- No
involvement in illegal activities—any member caught engaging in crimes
such as including, but not limited to drug dealing or theft will be
expelled immediately.
- The
club does not endorse any political party, candidate, or cause.
- Members
must not use club colours, symbols, or events for political purposes.
- Respect
the diverse perspectives of fellow members; no discrimination based on
political beliefs.
10. Club Colours, Insignia &
Property
- The club
patch is sacred. Wear it with pride and never dishonour it.
- Members
must never abandon, misuse, or disrespect their patch.
- Club
patches and insignia must be returned upon leaving the club.
- Unauthorized
individuals may not wear or display club insignia.
11. Community & Charity
Engagement
- The
club is committed to giving back through charity rides and
community service.
- Members
should actively participate in philanthropic initiatives.
- Represent
the club as a positive force within the community.
12. Alcohol & Substance
Policy
- Responsible
drinking is permitted at club events.
- Excessive
drunkenness, drug use, or possession of illegal substances is
strictly prohibited.
- Any
member found violating this rule will face severe disciplinary action.
13. Financial Responsibilities
& Dues
- Members
must pay all dues and fees on time.
- Club
funds are used for club operations, events, and charity—not
personal gain.
- Financial
misconduct within the club will result in expulsion and legal action.
- Becoming
a full-patch Member is an earned privilege.
- Prospects
must prove their loyalty, discipline, and commitment before earning
membership.
- Senior
members must mentor prospects, not abuse or exploit them.
- Prospects
who fail to meet expectations will not receive a membership.
15. Leaving the Club
- Members
wishing to leave must do so honourably and respectfully.
- All
club patches and property must be returned.
- A
member leaving in bad standing will be permanently blacklisted.
- If a
former member disrespects the club after leaving, appropriate action will
be taken.
